① EMI/EMC design practices Define architectures, select components and split the whole architecture in multiple boards (if needed) considering EMI/EMC design guidelines.
② Pre-certification review of design files Schematic and layout audits. Check for filtering, portioning, grounding, shielding, clearances, creepages, isolations in this stage
③ Prototype pre-compliance testing & debugging Test all critical testcases per certification standards early on in the prototype builds. The right build would be the one where more than 80% functionalities are developed and enclosures are ready to be integrated with that proto build
④ Certification liasioning After critical certification test cases are passing successfully with sufficient margin in pre-compliance test, product is ready for final certification submission. Submit the product for certification and support certifying bodies for testing and documentations
